As reported on KREM Channel 2 in Spokane, Excelsior Youth Center updated a classroom that hasn’t been remodeled in 36 years. It was about time, and very timely for important life skills every student needs.
“A lot of them leave the system at 18 not really knowing how to cook, not really knowing how to prepare a meal,” Chief Development Officer Kitara Johnson said.
Lowe’s helped build two new cooking classrooms.
