On July 22, 2026, Excelsior Wellness proudly celebrated the grand opening of The Landing, a new 25-unit intergenerational apartment community designed to expand affordable housing, strengthen community connections, and help create permanent housing opportunities for young adults exiting foster care.
This milestone marks more than the completion of a building; it represents years of vision, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating brighter futures for Spokane residents.
The Landing brings together transitional-age foster youth, seniors, and workforce residents in a community intentionally designed to foster stability, mentorship, and belonging. By pairing quality housing with supportive services, The Landing reflects Excelsior Wellness’s belief that innovative, community-centered solutions can address some of our region’s most pressing challenges.
The celebration featured remarks from community leaders and partners who have championed this project from its earliest stages. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mayor Lisa Brown for her continued leadership and commitment to innovative housing solutions in Spokane, Tory Gildred from The America’s Foundation for recognizing the power of philanthropy and partnership, and Ryan Kiely, Executive Vice President of Excelsior Wellness, whose leadership and dedication helped bring this vision from concept to reality.
